Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, President of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) and President of the Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation Commission of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (GNFCC SCO), met SCO Secretary-General Vladimir Norov in Beijing on December 10, 2021, before Norov was about to leave his post.
Shen expressed gratitude to Norov for the contributions he had made — as SCO Secretary-General during the past three years — to advance people-to-people friendly communications and women and children's exchanges among SCO countries. Shen also outlined the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 19th CPC (Communist Party of China) Central Committee and the historic achievements the CPC has made during the 100 years since the Party was founded in 1921. Shen hoped Norov would continue promoting the development of SCO and the relationship between China and Ukraine after he returned to his country.
Huang Xiaowei, Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, Li Hui, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Eurasian Affairs, and Cui Li, Vice-President of the GNFCC SCO, also attended the meeting.
